The company

Founded in 1970 by the late Gerald E. Guarnieri and John F. Erath, Shakespeare '70 is a repertory company based in Trenton, NJ. We present the best of classical and modern theatre in a variety of venues in the area.

Shakespeare '70 Inc. is a non-profit corporation to which donations are tax deductible. We are funded in part by the Mercer County Cultural and Heritage Commission and the NJ State Council on The Arts, and by many individual contributions.
