John F. Erath, Ph.D. is
also the Company's President, and, as a member of the English Department,
brought S’70 to TCNJ nine years ago. Under his direction, we have presented a
range of classical plays, including Hay Fever, The Way of the World, She Stoops to
Conquer, The Country Wife, School for Scandal, An Ideal Husband, A Woman of No
Importance, Lady Windermere’s Fan, Tartuffe, Hedda Gabler, and Arms and
The Man. He has also led the Company through 35 seasons of Shakespeare at
The Open Air Theater, most recently directing Richard III, A Midsummer
Night’s Dream, The Tempest and Twelfth Night, and Much Ado About Nothing.
Frank now lives in Maine with his wife Gail, the Company's Costume Consultant
and a member of the Board of Directors. He is Professor Emeritus, having retired
from TCNJ after 39 years on
the English faculty.
